Another trendy cafe in Manhattan? Peels only uses the best ingredients and has a crazy innovative pastry chef. I had the dulce de leche sea salt brownie and some chocolate chip coconut something brownie something. They are known for their 3 in 1 cream pie. Coconut, chocolate, and banana all in one crust! It was good but not great. They also serve regular food for lunch and dinner I guess. They are suppose to have crazy dessert but I guess I didn't have any. So I would say this is a place I don't see myself going back to.  To much other delishishness to waste going back here.

Helana makes pierogies for restaurants and wholesales them but she will sell them out the back if you know. With 10 of more varieties and some seasonal pierogies the possibilities are endless. House made kielbasa and stuffed cabbage is sure to fill your polish fix. Sold by the dozen with some sourcream on the side. These are the greatest pierogies I have ever found. Simply amazing and so fresh. Turn at the giant gnome and you will find this secret spot. Its so worth the trip I promise.

Torrisi has taken NYC by storm. Bringing Italian American farm to table to the mainstream. Using only the most local and fresh ingredients, Torrisi has its own philosophy on cooking. A small cute Italian place just outside Little Italy. Torrisi  was named best turkey sandwich in NY by Serious Eats and being on No Reservations has propelled them into the spotlight. Deli by day and crazy trendy restaurant by night. They only offer a price fixed and you only get what they want to feed you no menu to choose from. Everyone says you are sure to be blown away. I was under whelmed by my turkey sandwich it was abit small and $10. I hear their dinners are culinary genius. House made mozzarella to order? Seriously? They make you a ball of fresh mozzarella from scratch to order Holy Crap!!!! They take all their reservations for the whole night at 5:30 so get inline.  The chicken parm is suppose to be amazing also. I wouldn't stop here for a sandwich again  but I would come for a crazy fresh amazing 10 course prefix dinner ($50). Check out the video

The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck has graduated to its new home on E 7th St in the village. The best foodie street in all of Manhattan. With even more flavors, toppings, and products this is an instant hit. Incredible combinations of flavors on soft serve ice cream. They also carry ice pops, whoopie pies, and coffee. This is the trendiest biggest thing to hit the food scene this year. Already fully endorsed by Anthony Bourdain and Andrew Zimmern expect a line out the door. I had'nt been to the truck in a year but the Salty Pimp tasted better then I remembered. Dulce de Leche and fluer de sel lined cone with soft serve vanilla injected with dulce de leche dipped in chocolate and more salt on top. Best ice cream I have ever put in my mouth
I swear. Pumpkin butter, lime curd, fig sauce, wasabi, curried coconut, olive oil, or carmelized bacon! The toppings are craaaaaaazy! Please go here now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who hasn't been to a Papaya King? A New York City staple and many foodies dirty little secret. Who would have thought fresh fruit drinks and greasy dogs go so good together. Pick up a recession special 2 dogs and a papaya drink for around $5. Since 1932 Papaya King has been squeezing fruit all over NY. Locations are all over but don't be confused with the fake Papaya Dog or Grays Papaya. Some consider Papaya King the best hot dog in the city. Definitely a quick good bite. A NY classic!!!
