As a review on Tripadvisor says. GUY GOT THIS ONE WRONG. This food was mediocre at best and extremely over priced. I spent $21 on 3 ribs and 1/4lb of brisket 2 sides and cornbread. It was cold and dry. I didn't care for any of the sauces they had either. The only reason I went here was because Rawley's across the street is closed on Sundays. Rawley's has deep fried hot dogs with bacon which was on The Best Thing I ever Ate. I've had better BBQ just about anywhere sorry Guy Feirri or however you spell your name.

 This was like $21.99

 and this was another $18.99

Rice to Riches-NYC

Rice to Riches
37 Spring St. (btwn Mott & Mulberry)
New York
, NY 10012

www.ricetoriches.com

You walk in and there's a counter full of rice pudding.  What's not to like?  There are like eleventy billion different flavors.  Can't decide?  No biggie.  They will let you taste all of them, I think.  Ive had the french toast and the chocolate both were outrageous..  I do regret not trying more.  The stuff is good.  It's rich, thick, creamy rice pudding at its best. They have like 10 different topping you can get on top. Its nuts.

For those not in the NYC area, you can have your rice pudding overnighted -- a measly $55 for a Sumo size (smallest available for shipping). Mind you, this is great stuff... but if you are willing to spend $55 on rice pudding, we should discuss your financial priorities. It comes in this awesome little container and spoon you get to keep so that's partially why its kinda expensive. Save them for your own rice pudding  at home..... I love Rice to Riches....but its a place I can't visit too often....and we all know why....Morbid Obesity ain't cute!

If you like rice pudding, it's a must. If you don't like rice pudding, stop your whining and try something new. Just try not to go crazy--heed their strict limit of 500 rice puddings per person.

Vivi Bubble Tea-NYC

Vivi Bubble Tea
49 Bayard St
New York, NY 10002

Of course the best bubble tea around would be in Chinatown. This place is authentic all the way down to the Hello Kitty and the Homer outside. If you are familiar with Asian trends and stores in Japan this would fit right in. They also only employee cute Asian girls so that's a bonus. They serve a HUGE variety of bubble teas and also serve a few food items. Don't forget to pick up your frequent buyer card buy 5 get 1 free. After sampling bubble tea up and down the east coast from Boston to South Carolina this is by far the best. Basically bubble tea is a tea or milk tea with tapioca balls and a big straw so you can suck them up while you drink. It is a total texture trip and can be quite awkward at first. If you are not familiar with bubble tea here's  the wiki definition:

Pearl Milk Tea is a sweetly flavored tea beverage invented in Taiwan. Drink recipes may vary, but most bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit (or fruit syrup) and/or milk. Ice blended versions of the drink are also available, usually in fruit flavors. Bubble teas may contain small tapioca balls or pearls called "boba". Pearls made of jelly are also available in many places. These teas are shaken to mix the ingredients, creating a foam on the top of some varieties, hence the name.
Bubble tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980s, first spread to nearby East Asian countries, migrated to Canada before spreading to Chinatowns throughout the United States, and then to various trendy college towns along the West Coast.

Stuff Yer Face-NJ

Stuff Yer Face
49 Easton Avenue
New Brunswick, NJ 08901-1830
(732) 247-1727

Located in the heart of New Brunswick on the Rutgers University campus Stuff Yer Face is the elite stromboli capital of the east coast. Specializing in what they call "BOLI" they have a huge selections of totally customizable stromboli. Also catering to the college kids with a huge beer selection on tap and bottles.
Adam Richman from Man Vs Food came here and custom made his own HUGE 18in boli which is now on the menu (brie, cheddar, chicken, steak, garlic, onions, sauteed onions, spinach, tomatoes, and chipotle sauce). It was dam good. I would say this was close to the best stromboli Ive ever had. Don't let the 18in fool you I could have ate the whole thing by myself. Its a decent place to chowdown if your in the Rutgers area and you need a beer.

The Ice Cream Man-NY

The Ice Cream Man
417 State Route 29
Greenwich, NY 12834-4233
(518) 692-838

I was skeptical at first that ice cream could really be any better then I was used to. After my fiance's parents bragged about this place and returned a few times I knew I would make the voyage eventually. The Ice Cream Man beat Bobby Flay in the ice cream sundae Throwdown with their Granny Apple Sundae which you can get at their store or you can get the Bobby Flay sundae(not sure what was in it). Homemade ice cream, huge portions, and local farm fresh ingredients nothing is better. Their sundaes are huge even I couldn't finish it. Almost the size of a basketball and if you want to order a cone you better get a small its 4 scoops.  Honestly this was the best ice cream I have ever had. It was a religious experience that I did not expect. This has ruined ice cream for me forever. I will always be searching for my first Ice Cream Man experience and I will never find it anywhere else. I never knew ice cream could taste this way. It is about 20mins east of Saratoga NY and well worth the trip from anywhere.

Louis Lunch-CT

Louis Lunch
263 Crown St
New Haven, CT 06511

The birthplace of the American burger as we know it today. Louis lunch has been cooking up the beef for over 100years and still uses the same stoves. This is the smallest eatery  I have been to. Only a few tables and mostly standing room only. The walls are covered in history and nostalgia. Louis has been on TV show after TV show and i really don't understand why. Expect to wait at least 20mins for your food and to receive and attitude by the employees its part of their thing. I was totally underwhelmed and honestly it was one of the worse burgers I have ever had. Yet it was just on The Best Thing I Ever Ate last week and some guy said it was the BEST burger he has ever ate. If you like a plain burger on white toast with onions and tomato then this is the place. NO KETCHUP NO MUSTARD

Eveready Diner-NY

Eveready Diner
4189 Albany Post Rd
Rt 9

Hyde Park, NY 12538

Its hard to believe a place so close to me was actually on tv, but the Eveready diner in Hyde Park  was actually on DIners Drive Ins and Dives. Definitely the nicest looking diner I've ever seen.  There's  a nice retro feel both inside and out kinda looks like the 50s threw up all over the place. Food is good might be alittle more expensive then your average diner but not by much. Good stuff and you know you won't be disappointed.
