Kitchen Little isn't just a cute name. This place really is little. Probably the smallest restaurant I have ever been in actually. Located right on the main road into Mystic Seaport, Kitchen Little was voted Best Breakfast in CT by the Food Network. Had to stop in and grab breakfast. This place has a great view right on the water. In the summer eating outside must be a great place to start your day. I had the Portuguese Fisherman, which is scrambled eggs, sausage, peppers, onions, and jalapeno cheese with a Portuguese English muffin. It was OK nothing to rave about. A nice solid breakfast in a cute spot is enough for a good meal.
Known for their two ft hotdog, Doogies does everything big. You can get your hot dog in 10, 16, or 24 inches. They have your typical fried foods, burgers, cheesesteaks, nachos, etc. Kinda like a Planet Wings or Kennedy's Fried Chicken. Of course I had to order the 2ft hotdog with chili, cheese, onions, and peppers. The topping were really lame out of a can cheese wiz and gross chili. But lets be honest. This place is just a gimmick for a 2ft hotdog. No where else can you get one. This is a spectacle. The food was OK but I have no plans of ever going back. The 24in hot dog was about the same size as 4-5 regular dogs. No one makes a bun long enough so it sits on 3 over sized buns. Other then to laugh at your friends and feel sick there is no culinary value at this location.

Nice little brewery, with a great view of downtown Richmond. I was recommended this spot by a local on city-data.com. The biggest draw here is the view. The best view of any restaurant in Richmond. Located right on the James River.
Beer selection is the usually. They micro brew a few beers. I'm not a beer expert but whatever I got tasted nice and cold to me. The biggest complaints others have online is the food is mediocre. Our food was fine but the service was slow and the place was mostly empty. Next time I make it to Virginia I would def stop back. There is no better way to enjoy your evening.
Solid food, served fresh at a little outdoor tortilla shack. My kind of place.They have some seriously delicious burritos. Plenty of filling and cheese. Any Mexican joint better be serving Jarritos! I love food carts or trucks. This was very reasonable like $6 for a burrito. They are seasonal in Hudson and moved down the street last year. They should be opening soon and i cant wait to stop back.

Who doesn't love bread? I mean we are all addicted to it right?. Walking into Madonia Brothers, in the heart of Arthur Ave in the Bronx, is like walking into bread heaven. Hot Prosciutto bread anyone? Or how about warm crusty provolone bread with melty cheesy pieces thru out. Really some excellent old authentic italian stuff going on here. They are also known for their biscotti. They have biscotti stacked to the ceiling in all flavors and styles. If youre on Arthur Ave then grab a loaf and grab some cold cuts at Teitel Brothers or Mike's Deli. You wont be disappointed.

Dinosaur BBQ may be the most well known BBQ joint in the country. I mean, you can even buy their sauces in Walmart. Ive seen them on every TV show and win every award. I always dreamed of going to Syracuse or Harlem to get some of their BBQ but Syracuse was to far away for a day trip. Then I heard they were opening a spot in Troy, I was there that weekend.
Located right on the Hudson River in Troy, Dinosaur was over flowing with people. Had to wait 45mins to be seated on a Saturday morning and my inlaws waited an hr and 45 on a Saturday night. So be prepared!
I really went into this experience being sceptical. I wanted to not like their BBQ. I wanted to say it was all hype. As soon as my chicken wings hit the table and I took one bite I knew it was all true. By far the best chicken I have ever put in my mouth. Smokey, crispy, spicy, sweet, BBQ. The ribs and my pork-sket sandwich followed blowing my mind. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, corn bread, beans all amazing. Was this really the best BBQ I have ever had? Simply said yes. But it comes at a price. At one dollar a chicken wing and almost $30 for a rack of ribs, $16 for a sandwich this was the most expensive BBQ I have ever had. Ive learned a few things thru my food travels. You have to pay for perfection!

Unless you are from the capital region of New York you probably haven't had or heard of mini hot dogs. I haven't come across these mini hot wieners anywhere else in the country. Located only 1mile apart Famous Lunch and Gus's Hot Dog stand have been battling over the best mini dogs for over 50yrs. The mini dogs and mini rolls are all made local just for them. The sauce is alittle burnt tasting and has more cumin then I am use to in my sauce. I give the edge to Famous in the wiener department but Gus's has hamburgers and amazing sausage and peppers for $1.70. At 65cents each people order these dogs ten at a time. This is the cheapest place to grab some grub I have ever come across. I spent $8 with a drink and had 2 sandwiches to bring home for lunch the next day.So order up a pile of doggies and pull up a chair. Chowdown on a local legend. Go to both and you be the judge. They are only 5min drive apart!!!
