The Barking Crab is located right in the main shopping part of Newport Rhode Island (They also have another location in Boston Ma). Newport is a gorgeous little town right on the ocean. Don't miss the Cliff walk and check out the mansions and lighthouses. Ive wanted to check Newport out for years. I went during off season and after going to 3 restaurants that were closed ended up here out of desperation. This place gets really bad reviews by the locals on yelp but It was cool inside and the food was decent. It was over priced but so was everything in Newport. Not nearly as good as Flo's this is more like the Ruby Tuesdays of seafood a sight step up from Red lobster. Still nice for a good time and some crabs or clams. I would try something more local then this while in Newport. The Salvation Cafe is were I really wanted to go but they were closed so if you're in the area check them out for me. And don't forget to go to Flo's Clam Shack.
Stuffed Quahogs weren't that good
