Bassett's Ice Cream-PA

Reading Terminal Market
51 North 12th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19107

As a fifth-generation family business, Bassett’s Ice Cream is the last remaining original merchant in Philadelphia’s historic Reading Terminal Market. Also the countries oldest ice cream shop.

Reading Terminal market is amazing. If you have never been there it is a must for all Philadelphia visits. So much food and fresh produce. I've been there twice and every time it is a struggle to decided what to eat because everything is so amazing.

This was some good ice cream. There variety of hard ice cream flavors was impressive. Over 40 flavors.

McClure's Pickles-NY

By far the greatest pickles on earth. The Spicy are super hot with habanero peppers in the jar and whole garlic cloves. These are not for the faint of heart. They really pack a kick. But just like most spicy food they are addictive. I had to go all the way to Brooklyn for these bad boys. The dill are good and super crunchy but the spicy are so much better.

Valencia Luncheria
172 Main Street
 Norwalk, CT 06851

The best arepas and empanadas. Never had Venezuelan food before and man it was awesome. This place is worth the drive. I plan on coming back soon .

Homemade mango ice tea with a piece of sugar cane. The green sauce they put on the table is amazing. I used almost half a bottle. Don't forget to finish the meal with a Nutella and cream cheese empanada. Amazing

By far the greatest pie I have ever had.
They are famous for their Baltimore Bomb Pie.
I tried the Baltimore Bomb, Chocolate Pecan and Apple and then the Baltimore Bomb again lol.
The owner Rod is a former rock and roller who still likes to perform at the shop and food truck located in Washington DC. One of the best logos and names of a shop around. I cant wait to return and eat killer pie.

Ted's Steamed Cheese Burgers-CT

This was the trip that started it all.

These Hamburgers are steamed in a strange custom metal box. The burger lacked any flavor and was lame. If you have never had steamed cheese you are missing out. The best thing about this place is the cheese on the burgers and homefries (they dont serve french fries) it is so gooey. This place is small. I mean really small. Expect a line.

This is ME and this is what i DO.

This is ME.

And this is what i DO.

I travel around the country searching for good times, good friends, and good food. I only document my food travels with my cell phone. I don't like carrying my camera around with me when I eat because I tend to get a little dirty. Some of the pictures are not so clear and sometimes I may even forget to take a photo of my food because I ate it to fast. Most the places I eat I find on Tv. No Reservations and Man vs Food are some of my favorite shows. If you know of any places please send me an email. Thanks Bover
