All in favor of satisfying their sweet tooth, say aye! Who wants some super delectable and completely original cookies that come from the ‘hood? The people at the Good Batch are the bomb at making some dope-ass cookies because, unlike most store bought cookies, these little goodies are made in small batches and only use the best of the best stuff around. How about a carmel icecream sandwich with salted carmel homemade ice cream, salted sugar cookies, and melted chocolate ganache. They are kinda famous for their Stroopwafels. They look like flat waffle cookies and are filled with caramel!!! Anyways this was the most ridiculous ice cream sandwich I've ever had so check it out!

And even if you don’t like sweets that much, some of these cookies come in savory flavors like salty brown butter or the slightly sweet curry and peanut butter. Shovel a spoonful of salty caramel ice cream between any of them for a sweet summertime treat that’s downright devilish and only slightly addicting.

They said to me when I first went there that they were better than Juniors. Well its close but different. Juniors is still number 1 for a slice of plain cheesecake but if you want chocolate nut cookie dulce de leche crumble berry peanut butter merlot balsamic carmel then BiteMe is for you.  Lil morsels of cheesecake with a cookie crumb crust. Lord have mercy on me. I didn't really have high expectations and they were not on my list of things to eat that day. The bite size dulce de leche cheesecake was out of this world. Packed a wicked punch and the small portion was just enough to blow me away. They are set up at Smorgasburg in Brooklyn on Saturdays. I think you can order online also.

First Prize Pies specializes in unique, handmade pies that are baked to order (a small selection of flavors are available for pickup anytime at Roni-Sue's Chocolates in the Essex St Market). With a name like First Prize Pies you better have some dam good pies. Her specialty? S'more pie. This thing has the toasted marshmallow, the chocolate, and the graham. Allison Kave offers crazy flavors like bourbon ginger pecan, apple cider cream, root beer float, or chocolate pretzel to name a few. Allison's claim to fame, and the reason behind her store name, is that she won the first annual Brooklyn Pie Bake Off. Hence the First Prize Pie. Catch her at festivals and fairs all over the 5 boroughs.

Bottom line: Allison's pies are made with the highest quality ingredients and her recipes are creative, thoughtful and well-executed.  What else could you hope for in a pie!?

Brooklyn Bangers  promises slammin' handmade sausages. The menu features merguez, bratwurst and kielbasa sausages as well as the special rampwurst! If you're not familiar with ramps - they are a super trendy leafy wild green onion! With mild flavor like garlic or a scallion. The $8 sausage was a hefty one, tremendously thick and fat and barely contained in a potato bun. Almost entirely green with ramps the flavor was very mild. Topped with a ramp and pea slaw. This was truly delicious. Alittle steep but ramps are very expensive because they only grow in the wild and the season is very short. Brooklyn Bangers does do a few festivals around Manhattan so check their website. These are some truly yummy sausages!!
