White Manna -NJ
White Manna Cheeseburgers
358 River Street
Hackensack, NJ 07601-5817

Finally made it to White Manna after seeing it on every food show in existence. This place is super awkward. Looks quite strange on the outside and the inside is so small everyone is mushed into each other. Super packed waited maybe 20min for our food. The one women cooking the food was mean and could have used a shower but those burgers never looked so good. Sitting there watching them sizzle and the onions and the steam. I think its all part of why they are so good. They tease you for awhile and you cant have them you have to wait your turn but they are right in your face cooking up.
These little sliders were super good and super cheap. I ordered 4 with everything and shared a fry and was full. Super greasy and super sloppy. Pretty much White Castle done right. I def plan on going back to this dive.

Peninsula Grill
112 North Market Street
Charleston, SC 29401-315
This may be the fanciest restaurant in Charleston but boy is it beautiful. After seeing this place on Throwdown for 12layer coconut cake I knew one day I would make the journey. Coconut is my fiance and I's favorite thing in the world. So after scoping the place out we decided it was alittle fancy for us. Prices are around $35-50 for dinner a la carte. I called up and asked if i could order a slice to go. The cake in the restaurant is $14 a slice I believe to go was $11. You can order the cake online shipped to your house for $196 shipped but this cake wieghs 30lbs!!!!!! So we took the cake to the waterfront right there in Charleston. The city is amazing and the park was beautiful lit up at night by the gas lanterns at night. The cake was sure good. But being with my fiance in Charleston was better.

Conveniently located in the parking lot of the Gentleman's Club and across the street from a pornstore—because lap dances make you hungry!—Chaps knows how to do pit beef and Southern-style barbecue. In addition to the beef, Chaps also offers ham, chicken and sausage. They even can put all of those on one sandwhich if you like. Just slabs of meat hot off the grill is what they do and it is delicious.

Obrycki's in East Baltimore is one of the city's most famous crab houses. The building used to be a tavern in Fells Point in 1865.
By far my favorite crabs around. They have their own special seasoning which does NOT have any Old Bay in it. It's mainly pepper. After a few crabs your lips go numb and all you want is more. They cover the table with paper and throw down the crabs right in the middle. Time to get to work. Make sure to make reservations during the weekends.
Don't forget to get a dozen XLarge

Having heard the rave reviews of New Haven style pizza and reading about the decades-long rivalry between Pepe's and Sally's I new I had to check it out. I like to try local favorites when I travel but I love thick gooey crust style pizza. Pepe's originated the New Haven-style thin-crust apizza (closely related to Neapolitan-style Italian pizza) which he baked in a coal-fired brick oven. The quality of the pizza was good, and trying clam pizza was unique (and tasty!). I also loved the old-school, no frills baking sheet the pizza was served on. Overall I'm glad I made the trip to experience the historic and local character, but having tried it once I would not hurry back to dine again. Expect to wait inline at least 15-60mins. Also no slices only whole pies.
Clam pie was really great. Lots of whole clams and garlic.

A funky little hotdog shack this place is very cool! The decor is fun and bright - the cosmic theme is awesome! The hotdogs and fries were great. Don't forget to wash it down with a CheerWine. Just a neat little place to stop at for lunch. The sweet potato mustard was really freaking good.

On our last day in Charleston, we grabbed breakfast at the Hominy and it was so good we made reservations for dinner. We had much anticipated eating here after seeing it on every food show in existence. Originally a barber shop in the 1880’s, it's one of Charleston’s most beloved restaurants. Don't miss the Big Nasty which, true to it's name is a buttermilk biscuit topped with a whopping piece of fried chicken drenched in sausage gravy and cheese. The Shrimp and Grits are the best around and the desserts are amazing.Their chocolate pudding was featured on The Best Thing I Ever Ate picked by Alton Brown. I can't wait to go back to Charleston and the Hominy will be my first stop.
