Gourmet hot dogs in Palenville NY? Really? You betcha. Heather, the owner of Pippy's, is serving up cutting edge flavors that you would normally only find in Manhattan. Pippy's has an emphasis on using only the freshest and local ingredients. Heather has smoked sausages, hotdogs, fries, corn on the cob, potato salad, and daily specials that she changes up all the time. How about a hot dog wrapped in bacon and covered in pineapple salsa? Delicious. My favorite is the bahn me. Bahn Me is a Vietnamese sandwich which is gaining popularity in the trendy food scene. A bahn me has pate, pickled carrots, cilantro, and traditionally pickled radish which Heather puts all between a bun with a hotdog too!! This is were I go to get my gourmet dog fix. Closet place from here to NYC to get an awesome dog and who would of thought in Palenville. Catch her Fri, Sat, Sun at the triangle in Palenville, cant miss Heather.
