Bringing a new twist to old classics, Liddabits is taking over Brooklyn and Manhattan by storm. With no real store front, you can only get their treats at a few outdoor markets and cafes in Manhattan. From Smores bars, Sea Salt Carmels, Honey Comb Candy, Maple Popcorn, Jellies, and Lollipops they have crazy candy concoctions to keep your sweet tooth happy. Always organic and always using local ingredients this is the wave of the future. They might be most popular for their honey comb candy covered in chocolate. Light and airy chewy and crispy with a slight honey flavor. The chocolate is amazingly creamy and decadent. Expect to pay top dollar for an organic local farm to table hand made smores candy bar. That might be the downside. A bag of 6 carmels was $6 and a candy bar was $7 ouch! I highly recommend the Brooklyn Flea for an afternoon of noshing and checking out how beautiful the Brooklyn waterfront is.
