Dot's Back Inn is a cozy restaurant in the out-of-the-way part of town. It really is hard to find it. Turning off the main drag (West Laburnum Avenue), you pass through several blocks of residential area and begin to wonder if your G.P.S. needs reprogramming when you come across this small cluster of shops and restaurants. That would normally be alarming, but this was intended to be just a neighbourhood dive like this. I was really impressed on entering this restaurant and seeing all the history on the walls and the Pinup girl retro/greaser feel.
I got a sailor sandwich and my fiance got the black bean corncakes. Both were really good. Wish i could go back but I don't think ill be in Richmond again for another 20years.
