Eagles Deli's epic hamburger list is favored by the restaurant's mostly Boston College customer base. BC football players are fond of the Godzilla burger, a pound of meat with loads of cheese, while the Eagle's Challenge burger (five pounds of meat, 20 slices of cheese, 20 bacon strips,5lbs of fries) is free if one can finish it within an hour. Famous for their burger challengers Eagles will most definitely have a burger the right size for you.
I went for a small 1/2 lb burger for lunch. It was good. Not the greatest but not bad. Reminded me of a cafeteria type burger even a step below Ruby Tuesdays or TGIFridays. If you are in Boston i would not waste my time.
